Celebrating 50 Years of Conservation at Don Edwards SF Bay NWR
It's time to celebrate 50 years of conservation! On October 8th, 2022, Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge is celebrating big by throwing a public birthday bash! Join us in celebrating 50 years of Conservation—Past, Present, and Future.
From 1972 to today, the Refuge has provided a place of solace, exploration, and enjoyment for visitors every day. Refuge staff and partners are planning a celebration with ranger walks and talks, face painting, history talks, activities, refreshments, and more!
Free activities for the visiting public will take place from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm.
